August in Utah is usually the hottest month – but the few days surrounding Maddie and Jake’s wedding were full of rainstorms! I for sure thought we were going to get drenched at the Bountiful Utah temple. Luckily, the skies held back! It was probably the coldest August wedding I’ve ever photographed, but I’ll take that over rain any day! Maddie and Jake always have smiles on their faces, and their wedding day was no exception! They walked out of the Bountiful Utah temple as happy as can be!

These two lovebirds had a big group show up to support them, and it was so fun to see how many people love Maddie and Jake. Their wedding party was so nice and cooperative and that made everything run super smooth! I asked the couple “You’re husband and wife! Does it feel real yet?” and they both replied “Not really – it’s all just surreal that it’s here and this is our wedding!” I totally understand and remember that feeling. All this excitement and prep leading up to the wedding day, and then it gets here and it’s hard to believe! Make sure you take the time to breathe it all in and soak it up!
