Draper Utah LDS Temple Wedding and Outdoor Reception

Last Saturday, Giuliana and Taylor were married at the Draper Utah LDS Temple! Giuliana and Taylor exited the temple with the biggest smiles on their faces. You could see the excitement and feel their enthusiasm! Husband and wife at last! And they totally nailed that dip kiss! I am obsessed with Giuliana’s gorgeous Elizabeth Cooper dress! All the flowy tulle makes her look just like a princess! And the wedding colors she chose couldn’t have been more perfect. The light blue bridesmaids dresses combined with the peachy pop of colors in bouquet were a match made in heaven! All throughout our time shooting the couple portraits, the wind was SO intense! We had our work cut out with us, with a blowing veil, hair, and dress! Wind ain’t no thang to these newlyweds, and they continued smiling and laughing the whole time!

Their reception was held at Barbwire and Lace in Pleasant Grove. It gave off the perfect outdoor, summery, backyard party vibes! There were little vignettes set up all over, with gorgeous florals and cute handmade signs! The signs had different Taylor Swift lyrics on them, and I was allllll about that! Such a freaking cute idea! Giuliana and Taylor had a taco truck cater the food, a yummy salsa bar, and an Acai food truck for dessert! Doesn’t that sound like summer perfection?! The guests had full bellies, and were full of energy for the dance floor! The Ken Foster Trio was playing live music to all the normal wedding hits, and it was so much fun! Everyone danced, and laughed, and had the best time!

A popular trend I’ve noticed over the last two years, has been the shoe game! It’s where an emcee asks questions like “Who made the first move?” or “Who is the better cook?”. The bride and groom hold up the shoe of the person they think fits the question. It’s so funny to see what couples agree on, and what they don’t! Giuliana and Taylor didn’t disappoint with their answers! It was so funny! The shoe game is always a hilarious and entertaining event for the crowd! Finally, it was time for the send off! The beautiful hazy sunset light + smoke from the sparklers was so perfect! “I see sparks fly, whenever I’m with you” truly embodies how Giuliana and Taylor feel for each other! It was such an honor to capture their wedding day, and be a witness to their love! Congratulations you two!!
