I walked Ryan to his place.  He was both nervous and excited, but a smile never left his face. This was it, the moment he would get to see his beautiful bride for the first time. And beautiful, she was. Amanda wore a stunning gown adorned with lace. Her hair was perfectly curled, and her bouquet was fragrant and fresh. This was it, the moment she would get to see her handsome groom. Amanda got into place, and Ryan was given the go ahead to turn around. He turned, and took in Amanda in all her bridal glory. He smiled bigger than any smile I’ve ever seen, and immediately embraced the love of his life. Hugs, kisses, compliments galore, and a quick spin around so Ryan could get the whole view. The first look between Amanda and Ryan was so special!

With the first look over, we continued on with our session, hitting up various spots at the beautiful Jordan Pines location. Not even 30 minutes into our session, little rain drops started to fall. It Soon those little raindrops came quicker and quicker, and before we knew it, it was a full on downpour!! I felt so bad for Amanda and Ryan, but they were the best sports about it! We made it back to the cars, thoroughly soaked, and came up with a plan B. We decided to call it, and try again the next day.

I’m so glad we rescheduled! The next day was beautiful! Attempt number 2 was blessed with blue skies and sunshine, Amanda and Ryan were just as happy to see each other, and we got some gorgeous images! Now that’s what I’d call a win-win situation! Congratulations, Amanda and Ryan!! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding today and capture more special moments!
