Mary and Samir became husband and wife last week! Samir is from Morocco, and he flew across the world to marry Mary. Their Provo Courthouse elopement was so sweet and simple. They were surrounded by a small group of friends and family, and in front of them, they pledged their love for each other.

During their Provo Courthouse elopement, their officiant talked about how important it is to learn the other’s love languages. And once you know them, work hard at expressing the love languages in different ways. You cannot do the same thing every day and expect that to be enough. You need to put in effort, and continually win your spouse over. I really loved that advice! I ask all my couples if they know their partner’s love languages. It helps so much in knowing how to express your love in a way that is most meaningful to your partner!

I enjoyed getting to talk to Mary and Samir during the photos we took after the ceremony. It was clear to see that they were so happy to be together, and not separated by time and space.
