There are times where everything just falls into place. One small decision, one new person met, can lead you to your future spouse. I’ve often heard the phrase “Small Lake City” as a spin-off of Salt Lake City, because everyone is connected to someone else (like the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon). Such is the way that Shelby & Ethan met! While on her LDS mission, Shelby met Ethan’s cousin, and that led to beginning of a love story. Shelby & Ethan met, they hit it off, and here they are, a few weeks out from their wedding!!

I had the best time photographing these two. They told me right away that they weren’t super comfortable in front of the camera, and you know what? That’s totally ok! All you need is to be crazy, head over heels in love with your partner, and I’ll do the rest! When you’re in love, it’s so easy for me to coach you into relaxed, happy poses that show off your relationship! Shelby and Ethan were no exception! Every time I told them to kiss, they were off in their own little world and I caught so many great photos! I couldn’t keep these two off each other 😉

I love love love that they followed my outfit advice to a T! Shelby sent me dressing room photos asking about dresses, and she ended up choosing the cutest pieces! The two of them coordinated so perfectly, and popped against the downtown Salt Lake City backdrop. I’m so happy for you two, Shelby and Ethan!
