Ben is from Tennessee. Carmen is from Utah. They met while Ben was in Utah for a quick trip, and the two of them hit it off instantly! Flash forward a few years, and here they are, engaged and planning their happily ever after! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing their relationship grow over the past few years, and these two just fit together. It’s clear to anyone looking in, that Carmen absolutely adores Ben. Any chance she gets, Carmen is always saying how hot and sexy he is, and I love that! Ben equally adores Carmen as well, always surprising her with fun dates!

Together Ben and Carmen love traveling. They have checked a lot of places off their travel list, and acquired a few stamps in their passports. They love to get out and explore just as much as they like a quiet night in playing Settlers of Catan. When we were discussing location options for their fall engagement session, the mountains were an obvious choice. Carmen and Ben enjoy hiking, and the Utah mountains provide such a beautiful landscape. We traveled up Big Cottonwood Canyon and photographed at the Jordan Pines area first. We were blessed with tall mountain pine trees, and some beautiful fall leaves.

It took Ben a minute or two to warm up to the idea, but he eventually got on board with all my quirky posing ideas haha. He and Carmen were laughing in no time! For the more formal outfits, we drove through Guardsman pass over to Park City, and it was beautiful. The aspen trees were a lovely yellow color and it was the epitome of fall. Despite a small sprinkle of rain, Ben and Carmen kept smiling and enjoying each other’s company! It was a pleasure to photograph the engagements of my friends, and I wish them nothing but the best with their future together! Congratulations you two!
