There are so many wonderful things I can say about Aubrey and Kason’s wedding day! They were sealed at the Payson Utah LDS Temple, and their luncheon and reception was held at Willow Springs Event Center. Of course, Aubrey and Kason were beaming from ear to ear when they exited the temple. These two are head over heels in love with each other, and it is so special to see that love! One of my favorite parts of the day was when Kason gave a heartfelt speech at their luncheon.

He began with saying “Marrying Aubrey today wasn’t my plan A, or my plan B. It was my plan C.” And you might be thinking, uh oh… Why didn’t all those other plans work out? But no, it just keeps getting sweeter! Kason said his plan B was when they went to get their marriage license, and Aubrey jokingly said “Let’s just go get married right now!”. Kason would have jumped at plan B, but he knew Aubrey’s parents would kill him haha. This is where the speech got a little more emotional – Kason said plan A was to marry Aubrey the night that he met her. He knew, that night, that Aubrey was going to be his wife. And so even though plan A and plan B didn’t work out, he couldn’t be more thrilled with plan C! The plan was always to end up with Aubrey as his wife! Aw, isn’t that just the sweetest speech?!

There were lots of other special moments throughout the day at Willow Springs Event Center. Aubrey’s mom was so brave and sang a song for everyone! Follow by a lovely serenade from Aubrey’s dad! It was so sweet to witness those acts of love from her parents. They also had all their guests go around and give them marriage advice. Some of it was funny, some of it was tongue-in-cheek, but it all had the same sentiment – keep cherishing each other! Keep communicating, keep up on your interests – both apart and together, and know that hard things will come your way, but together you will always make it through!

Aubrey and Kason, I loved being a part of your wedding journey! Witnessing the love you have for each other has reminded me of just how special marriage is. You two are such a great example of cherishing each other, and I hope you keep that up forever! Enjoy your new life as husband and wife! I’ll be cheering for you!!
